I’ve been meaning to do one of Poison Ivy and Lux Interior for a long time now. I first painted our long time family friend, Fur Dixon, into a made up show poster from when she played for them in ‘86. This is my interpretation of a very colorful photo. Envisioning them as silent movie stars of Old Hollywood in B&W. Went for a Rudy Valentino vibe with Lux.
