Thank you to our old family friend, Chalkie Davies, for the use of his photograph from NME magazine 1977 - the Idiot and the Oddity cover.
This piece personally means something to me for a number of different reasons which is why I reached out to Chalkie for permission. The original photograph is stunning and I felt a strong urge to do my own interpretation of it onto canvas.
